I was being a dumb ass... That's how my Belakor was charged. I was thinking you needed to be able to charge the whole front of a model for it to be a legal charge, not just a little piece hanging out. It was just sloppy on my side. I really had no solution for the pope or for knights in my list. Everything else in the empire list just exploded.

That said 2-1 wasn't bad for my first games in 7th ed

You wall suck. I was the true winer of the tournament. Trust me. I have to shoot a couple of the scenes over again (next weekend) and then the film will go into post-production. This one is going to be a classic.

Good game versus Ed round 1. Cannons put on a good deal of pressure (losing both chariots turn 1.) Be'lakor might have saved the day had he stayed around but cannons in the face have ways of making even the nastiest go home: a massacre for Ed.

George in Game 2 with his VC was an unfortunate situation. We ran out of time early in turn 3 and since I was the only one in possession of two quadrants it was a decisive victory for me. We'll hopefully learn all those spells and keep...

So I was going to post a BR, but two of my opponents did so for me.

So Nof- I actually thought that the game was well played, it came down to a couple of different key moments, and you got the better of me.

Also, Brian- I had a lot of fun during our game. We had that moment where both of us were really wrapped up in the game and it got a bit intense, but I am glad that both of us had the maturity to clear our heads and go about it like adults. I think a large part of it...

Agreed. I need lots of practice until then I need a crutch. I've been playing Wood Elves the last 3 years. I had a good time and learned allot. The wins will come. I was please about how I handled myself sportswise which I wanted to improve on.

I played my fluffy Empire with Popemobile, 2 priests, BSB, 2 blocks of swords+ detachs, 2 units of knights, handgunners, 2 units of pistoliers, cannon, 3 units of flagellants

Cool Tournamant. Ed won. Congrats to him. However, the best prize was for sportsmanship I think. Very cool. I had some very good games and played some very solid players. Hard fought and challanging.

I thought the power level of army's ncreased on a whole. Just an observation; not a bitch. I did fine. Not having a clue how to play VC. 6 games total now 3 with the book.

The main rules have been updated in the main topic, namely: 7th ed. Vampire Counts must be used if playing Vamps, +1 bonus point to overall score in your army includes a special character, and the way scoring works will not be revealed before or during the tournament.
