Anyways, Lou from HQ here. As I'm in charge of NEWCC this year, I thought that I should send an official invite out to you guys.
Here are the details:
When
Saturday October 25th 2008 (A start time has yet to be ironed out. But, figure around 10am for check in)
Where
At our club.

Details
-NEWCC is about clubs competing against each other and having fun while doing so. This year is no different. However, we want camaraderie to be the main focus and not listhammer. So, we're asking that all army lists be submitted for approval. That means no Godzilla 8 MCs. No "My Warhamz lurvs rending"...Basically, come with the mentality of having fun and not dickstomping.
-We're also trying to have a brunch and lunch set up for the participants. Feel free to BYOBeer/Liquor/special food stuffs- just don't OD or anything.
-4 man teams of 1500pt 40k rosters for 5th Edition.
-I'm allowing almost every army to be used. After all, it's about having fun. So, don't worry if it's GT Legal or not. So, feel free to post here or contact me in regards to what armies will be allowed. Around September, I'll post up the contact information for sending out the e-mailed army lists.
Cost
-Since we're trying to have food and trophies/plaques, we'll have to charge @$15/20 per person. This is a tentative amount and may go up/down $5. Heck, as we'll have to pay in advance for catering and trophies, I'm even tempted to give some sort of bonus to the teams who get their fees in early.

It's still pretty early and we (HQ the Club) need to iron out a few things. But, most of this won't change. If it does, it won't be a drastic one.
