What do you guys think of this tactic?
Toss Eldrad in a Falcon with 5 dire avengers, fortune the ride and cast doom on 2 squads a turn.
You basically have an near unkillable scoring unit that enhances units all around it and can tank shock onto objectives during the end game.
From a shooting perspective: Space Marine with a lascannon:
.666 hits, .166 get through the cover save, 0.83 penetrate (glance negligible), .02 immobilized or destroyed. So on average it would take 50 lascannon shots from a marine to drop the falcon...
Plus you can do a last turn tank shock a guy with a powerfist will destroy the tank 3.7% of the time with a death or glory. Even then your dire avengers will still likely contest the objective.
